Putting the Festival into JK25
Climbing Wall
True to the Outdoor City name, at the Sprint you'll be able to have a go on a climbing wall erected especially for JK25 in the Arena at the heart of the City Centre. And with it only being Day 1, you'll hopefully have lots of energy left to give it a go!
Biathlon Orienteering
You'll once again be able to try your hand at Biathlon Orienteering at the JK, courtesy of the Swedish Multisport Federation. It works just like the Biathlon you might have seen on TV, but with laser rifles and short orienteering loops instead of cross-country skiing. More info here.
String Course & Mazes
On Days 2 and 3 we will be offering a string course or maze in the Arena, aimed predominantly (but not exclusively!) at children. Participants will receive a small prize on completion.
Commentary Shoutouts
As if all the above fun wasn't enough, we'll also be providing a facility to send in shoutout requests to the Commentary Team. Whether it's to celebrate a significant anniversary, thank a fellow competitor for an act of kindness, or let us know a fun fact - we want to hear from you! This facility will be available on the website both in the run-up to, and for the duration of, the event, and we hope it'll be a fun addition to JK25.
